Robert Fabbri

Robert Fabbri

Robert went to Christ's Hospital School and then read Drama and Theatre at Royal Holloway College, London University, after which he worked in film and TV for 25 years as an assistant director on productions such as Hornblower, Hellraiser, Patriot Games and Billy Elliot. He decided to indulge his love of ancient history and write the sort of book that he would love to read; this resulted in the nine book Vespasian series plus sundry short stories and a stand-alone novel about the Roman general, Arminius. He is currently in the midst of a new series, entitled Alexander's Legacy, covering the wars of the great man's successors. The First two books in the series, To the Strongest and The Three Paradises, have been published and he has completed the third and fourth in the series: An Empty Throne and Babylon. He is now embarking on the fifth.
