Kira-Anne Pelican, PhD is a writer, educator and script consultant, specialising in helping writers develop more compelling characters through insights from evidence-based psychology. She is the author of The Science of Writing Characters (Bloomsbury, 2020) and has a 25-year background working in the film and television industries for directors including Stanley Kubrick, the Wachowskis and the Coen brothers.
