Judith Heneghan

Judith is a novelist, an award-winning writer of children's nonfiction, a senior lecturer and Doctor of Creative Arts at the University of Winchester.  While she has written over 60 books for young people, adult fiction is her current focus. Her recent novel, Snegurochka (Salt) was shortlisted for the Edward Stanford 'Fiction with a Sense of Place' Prize in 2020. Judith spent six years as Director of the Winchester Writers' Festival and now divides her time between writing, teaching and working as a mentor with Jericho Writers. She has been an active member of two local writing groups for a number of years.
